Oregon Problem Gambling Helpline
About Us
The Oregon Problem Gambling Helpline has been in operation since 2001 and is currently taking approximately 5,000 calls a year. Trained professional staff members are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to listen, educate, answer questions, and refer people to free confidential treatment services.
GEAR (Gambling Evaluation and Reduction Program)
Oregon’s Gambling Evaluation and Reduction Program, GEAR, is designed to meet the needs of less severe problem gamblers or those for whom the nearest program is inaccessible. GEAR is a structured program that offers a self-change workbook and phone counseling on a weekly basis with a gambling counselor.
Gamblers Anonymous
Gamblers Anonymous (GA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they solve their common problem and help others to recover from a gambling problem. Click here to see the listing of GA meetings in Oregon.
